Learn to sew with us!
At The Sewing Clinic, we enjoy teaching sewing to the people in our community. We have a beautiful teaching space which is well equipped with sewing machines and everything you need to start your sewing journey. We are in Paraparaumu.
Our Classes
We run weekly sewing classes and one-off workshops for kids and adults during the term and school holidays. These classes are designed to be fun and project-based. This means that skills are developed while completing projects. There is a sense of accomplishment and progress made during every class. The focus is not on achieving a straight (or perfect) stitch, but rather at gaining confidence by completing a project in a timely manner.
Kids
Kids classes are run during the school term and are for kids 8 and older.
Adults
Adult classes are offered during the school term and sometimes on weekends. They are for beginners and intermediate sewing levels.
Shop
Over the years we have lovingly collected our sewing projects and are now able to offer these for sale as project kits for purchasing. By using the kits, you will be able to learn how to sew from the comfort of your home! These projects are great for kids over 8 years old and are a great way to engage in a fun activity for parents and kids to enjoy together.
