Kids’ Classes
Our sewing classes for kids have been well attended over the years. It has become clear that there is a group of families who value the useful skill of sewing, and kids who enjoy the creative and uplifting atmosphere available here.
We have a beautiful teaching space equipped with some sewing machines and overlockers. You are welcome to bring your own machine, but we have machines available if required.
Beginner Kids
Kids Sewing Class (Ages 8-10)
Join us for an exciting sewing adventure designed specifically for kids aged 8 to 10! Our classes focus on hands-on learning through engaging projects. Each week (or two), we aim to complete a fun and creative project, allowing students to learn essential sewing skills while unleashing their creativity.
Kids Sewing Class (Ages 10-13)
After having done a year or so of classes with us, students may be ready for more complex projects! We focus on completing four projects per 8-week term, students will develop their sewing skills while exploring their creativity. From fashion accessories to home decor items, there’s something exciting for everyone to create.
Age 8+
Intermediate Kids
Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? Our intermediate class offers a more personalised approach, with smaller class sizes and structured projects. While most projects are predetermined, there’s room for flexibility for students to work on special projects of their choice. Whether you’re honing your techniques or tackling new challenges, our intermediate class provides the perfect environment for growth and creativity. Join us and elevate your sewing skills to new heights!
Students must have done a couple years of sewing with us already.
